Oven door's bust

After nearly thirty years, the pin of the lower hinge fell out.

The door (on the floor) still scrubs up pretty well. Yes, it's a mirador.
but the lower hinge shouldn't be like this
so the mighty Araldite is used to bond the pin back into the plate and a reinforcing washer is placed on top with a large blob of adhesive.

A hairdryer is used on low speed for a few minutes to speed up the cure, it's a bit fierce so it is blasted  through a tea strainer.
A day later, it's remantled and working.
